I got this digital camera as a birthdaypresent from my mom and dad in october 1999, and I've been taking quite a lot of photos since that. 16.4.2000 my photocount is exact 975 and it's rising all the time.

Why a digital camera? I've always liked taking photos, but never really had a camera of my own. My dad bought a 640x480- resolution digicam to my mom in 1998 and after I had played with it a bit I knew it was something I'd also like to have. With 640x480 -resolution the pictures were quite useless to anything other but web usage, but I thought that when I'll buy a camera of my own it will be digital. Waited 2 years and, kaboom, digicams had been developed up to 2 megapixels. Almost 300 dpi fullcolor pictures when printed in the normal 10 cm photoformat sounded nice and at the same time mom and dad went to USA for holiday so the equation was solved - they bought this Nikon to me for about 30% cheaper than it's price in Finland.

The photos -section may not be so rewarding experience to those who aren't with in the pics, but life ain't fare.
